NOTE  : Numerous power outages today.  These power losses ruined
        2 polarimeter scans that were almost completed, messed up
        the MCCD computer and tape drives, and shut off flare
        patrol.  In the interests of saving the equipment, I shut
        everything but the flare patrol down after the second major
        power failure.  This caused me to miss a huge flare at
        0330 UT.
NOTE 1: K-line CCD removed from spar, to be used in Alaska.
